FAQs
Generaal Information
Do I need prior experience in any of these modalities?
Not at all. Whether you are a seasoned meditator or brand new to "inner work," our facilitators are experts at meeting you exactly where you are. We provide all the necessary guidance and safety instructions.
Is this retreat religious?
No. While the experience is deeply spiritual and soul-focused, it is not tied to any specific religion. We welcome people of all faiths and belief systems.
What should I wear?
Think "maximum comfort." Yoga pants, loose-fitting clothes, and layers are ideal. During breathwork and sound healing, your body temperature can drop, so cozy socks and a sweater are highly recommended.
What should I bring?
1. Personal Comforts: A reusable water bottle, s yoga mat, and feel free to bring your favorite blanket or eye mask for the sound journeys.
2. An Open Heart: Leave the "to-do" list at home; this time is for you.
What if I’m nervous about the "emotional" side of things?
It’s perfectly normal to feel a bit of "pre-retreat jitters." Our space is built on safety and confidentiality. You are always in control of your journey, and our facilitators are trained to provide a supportive "container" for whatever arises.

Pro-Tip: The "Pre-Retreat" Mindset
Note to Participants: The retreat actually starts the moment you sign up. You might notice themes of "life design" or "old patterns" surfacing in your daily life leading up to our weekend. Pay attention—these are the threads we will be weaving together.
On LifeCraft
What exactly is "LifeCraft"?
LifeCraft is a proprietary framework developed by Cindy and Jose. LifeCraft is more than a philosophy—it’s an invitation to finally come home to yourself. Based on designs-thinking and futures-thinking, it blends the heart and mind with the vision of what’s possible, We help you strip away the "shoulds" to uncover your soul’s true purpose and lead an authentic life. Stop drifting and start building a life that feels as good on the inside as it looks on the outside.
On Conscious Connected Breathwork
Think of Conscious Connected Breathwork (CCB) as the active, "hands-on" version of meditation. While most meditation focuses on observing the breath as it is, CCB involves intentionally changing your breathing pattern to shift your physical, mental, and emotional state.
At its core, it is a therapeutic technique where you remove the pauses between the inhale and the exhale, creating a continuous "circle" of breath.
The Core Mechanics
There are three main pillars that define the practice:
• The Circular Loop: You inhale deeply and exhale softly without any holding of the breath in between. It looks like a continuous wave.
• Conscious Awareness: You stay present with the sensations in your body, rather than letting your mind wander.
• Mouth or Nose: Most CCB styles (like Rebirthing or Holotropic) use diaphragmatic breathing through the mouth to increase the volume of oxygen and energy moving through the system.
How It Affects You
By maintaining this rhythmic pattern, you alter the balance of oxygen and carbon dioxide in your blood. This often leads to:
• The "Quiet" Mind: It can reduce activity in the Default Mode Network (the part of the brain responsible for the "inner critic" and constant chatter).
• Emotional Release: Many practitioners find that suppressed emotions—like grief, anger, or joy—surface to be processed and "breathed through."
• Physical Sensations: It’s common to feel tingling, temperature changes, or a sense of lightness.
What does Conscious Connected Breathwork feel like?
It is a dynamic breathing technique that helps bypass the "thinking" mind. It can lead to physical sensations (tingling), emotional releases, or deep meditative states. Ryan will be present to support you through the entire process.
A Note on Safety: Because CCB can be physically and emotionally intense, it is best practiced with a certified facilitator like Ryan—especially if you have a history of cardiovascular issues, epilepsy, or severe anxiety.
On Sound Healing...
What is Sound Healing?
At its core, Sound Healing is a powerful and meditative form of therapy, utilizing a combination of healing sounds and music. It’s an age-old practice with roots that can be traced back to several ancient cultures, including that of China, Tibet, Latin America, Africa, India, and even ancient Greece and Egypt.
Sound Healing involves the use of different instruments to create therapeutic sound waves that aim to heal, balance, and harmonize the energies of the body and mind. Popular instruments used in Sound Healing include singing bowls, tuning forks, and gongs, among others.
Research shows that sound vibrations – especially at certain frequencies – can affect our bodies on a physiological, neurological, and biochemical level. It’s an effective method of relieving stress, especially as these frequencies can trigger the body’s relaxation response.
What makes our Sound Healing unique?
The musical instruments used in our Sound Healing play solfeggio frequencies and are tuned to 432 Hz. They are quite varied and are played intuitively through channeling, depending on the needs of the group or individual.
